The Clean Lube No Oily Film!
DuPont Performance Multi-Use is a water repelling, three dimensional lubricant utilizing advanced DuPont Teflon fluoropolymer, organic molybdenum, and a polymerized wax structure. This unique combination goes on wet to deeply penetrate and loosen frozen or rusted parts. It then sets up with a clean, dry, self-cleaning film. This dry film will not attract and absorb dirt and grime. In fact, dirt activates release agents in the lubricant causing bits of the wax layer and the contaminants to flake off. This patented technology keeps parts clean, so they work better and last longer.
Use On Any Moving Part
DuPont Multi-Use is an all-surface, all condition lubricant. Use on: Chains, Threaded Parts, Hinges, Locks, Latches, and Springs. Rusted Bolts, Sliding Tracks, Wheels, Pivots, Cams and Pulleys. Pipe Fittings, Shafts, Wet Wires, Zippers, Rollers, and Linkages. From a frozen bolt to a rusted bicycle chain, from sticky windows and door tracks, to a squeaking hinge, DuPont Multi-Use will exceed your highest expectations.

Best Motorcycle Chainlube I've tried! April 14, 2009 David W. Bany 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
With 20,000 miles on my current set of sprockets and DID chain, I give Dupont Teflon Multi-Use Lubricant a big two thumbs up! I can detect very little wear on either sprockets or chain and the stuff sticks very well except in prolonged wet weather riding but what lube does? I really like the fact that it goes on wet but quickly dries to a semi-waxy state that holds the Teflon and Molybdenum particles in place instead of flinging off onto my swingarm and rims. I buy mine at my local Lowe's home improvement store for less than five bucks a can.
Excellent lube for motorcycle chains March 16, 2009 B. Hill (San Diego, CA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This lubricant is excellent for cleaning and lubing motorcycle chains. It's O-ring safe, and there is no messy (and possibly dangerous) "fling" that you commonly get with other motorcycle chain lubes. After spraying, the solvent evaporates and leaves behind a nice teflon wax film. The wax doesn't attract dirt and displaces water that might come in contact with the chain. Give DuPont Multi-Use Lubricant with Teflon a try the next time you have the not-so-wonderful task of cleaning and lubing your bike chain. You'll like it!
Long lasting dry lubricant September 23, 2009 Wayne Bengston (Cordelia, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I used this product to lubricate my Oxtar TCS Evo ti boots. The lubricant that came with them lasted less than a day before they would start squeaking again. This lubricant lasts for months.
Good bicycle chain lubricant July 26, 2008 J. Snavely (Raleigh, NC United States) I've found this to be a good bicycle chain lubricant. I can't seem to make up my mind between wet and dry lubricants. Dry lubricants like this are more useful for chain cleaning and seem to keep the chain cleaner longer. Wet lubricants tend to leave the chain quieter, but attract more dirt.
Dupont multi-use is considerably cheaper than the bicycle-specific brands, though I suspect it's the same product. If you're in the market for a dry lubricant I'd look no further.
The spray bottle is useful for spraying off grime between full cleanings.
Great lube for moving parts and preventing rust December 17, 2009 David J. Batten (South of Mayberry, USA) I just got another can of this stuff, its really great. The combination of teflon, wax and synthetic oil makes it hard to beat, and Dupont sells it at a very reasonable price, compared to other brands.
I use this on my bicycle chain and derailleurs, as well as all the piviot points and moving parts. It lasts and lasts and collects little dirt. The important thing is to let it sit for a while before using it, maybe 10 min or so.
I also spray it on all my cast iron tools in my workshop - table saw, jointer, lathe, drill press, etc. Its good for preventing rust and makes the surfaces smooth. I use a synthetic abrasive wool to wipe it on. I pretty much use it on all my edge hand tools too - chisels and gouges, and any steel or iron tools to protect from rust. I just went thru and cleaned every surface and hand tool with this, which is why I needed more !
I've used it on hinges to prevent squeeks and on locks which get difficult to open... just a squirt and they operate smooth again. I use it on my lawn mower, and on just about any moving metal part on anything. I don't spray it on electric engines or inside internal combustion ones, but for any other moving metal parts it works fine, and is a great rust preventer.
